NSD Challenge! #1
Hello! We hope you're having a happy National Scrapbook Day and a lovely Mother's Day weekend as well! We have another scraplift for you from Tuesday's Spring Training Workout, "Get Inspired!" This one is from Jill Sprott who writes, "I lifted Doris Sander's "Two Cousins" layout from the August 2010 JBS gallery. It's been in my favorites folder since I first saw it that month, and I've been wanting to lift it...and finally, that time has come!" AND NOW IT'S YOUR TURN! Choose a layout from our current or a previous design team gallery and do a scraplift. Then post a link to your lift here (you can post your layout in our customer gallery or link it from your own blog) along with a link to the designer's layout that you lifted. We'll choose a winner next Sunday, May 15th, to receive a $25 gift card to JBS Mercantile!

ReplyDeleteI couldn't resist picking a layout with lots of stamping, and Lisa those butterflies had me at hello. Plus, your design was incredible, and the colors rocked! Anyway, here's mine... http://www.jbsmercantile.com/Layouts.asp?Display=2504

Hi! Love your take on the scraplift!!!
ReplyDeleteI added my scraplift 3 or 4 days and with blogger being down I just now checked and it was deleted.
I scraplift Doris from April from the DT gallery.
Here is my link: http://www.iluvscrapping.blogspot.com
I have linked this on my blog too!
Is it too late to enter this? It would be very helpful to us blog stalkers if you could give us an exact date and time deadline for each challenge, so we are not wondering how much time we have. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI used a combo of Doris's toilet paper roll misting technique(wanted to see if this worked with different shapes manipulating the bottom of the roll form) and Lisa's LO.

ReplyDeleteThat would be the "Life is Good" LO...sure hope this worked. I'm as technical as Jenni. Grin.
That would be the "Life is Good" LO. Mine is a little larger as i wanted to use the new TH glassine envelopes. Hope this worked. I'm about as technical as Jenni. Grin.
