Welcome to the JBS Team Mindy Miller!
Hi! My name is Mindy Miller and I thrilled to be joining the JBS team!A little about me...I call Kansas home and am a corporate attorney by day, crafter by night. What a combo, right? Scrapbooking is my first love, but I also enjoy card making and other crafts. And when I'm not working or crafting, I love to travel, read and watch the latest and greatest HBO show (think True Blood and Game of Thrones).
I started scrapbooking back in the mid-90s when I was in college and instantly knew it was my perfect hobby. Scrapbooking allows me to combine so many things I enjoy -- from graphic design to writing -- and is my creative outlet.
While I have consistently crafted throughout the years, I renewed my interest a little over two years ago. It was then that I began to incorporate sewing and vintage elements into my work. I still consider my style to be driven by graphic design, but I am also inspired by color and like to add a modern vintage touch to my projects. I want to stay true to my style, but I always like to try new techniques and challenge myself. Joining this team is surreal, but I am so excited to get started.
Welcome to the team Mindy! We think you and JBS will indeed be a picture perfect match! :)

Welcome to the JBS Team Briana Johnson!
I am so excited, thrilled, awe-struck, feelin' on top of the world to be joining the JBS Mercantile team! This is a real scrappy dream come true! I have so much appreciation for the things Jenni designs and the design team she has in place to showcase them. I remember when her products first hit the scene. There was nothing else like them! I've always loved going to antique stores and auctions and it was so cool to finally have scrapbook supplies that had that same feeling - two things I love, combined: vintage and scrapbook supplies. Really, this is just as good as it gets for me! I can't wait to get started!

Welcome to the team Briana Johnson! We are excited and thrilled to have you joining us! :)
So a little about me. I'm a stay at home mama. I've been married 11 years as of two days ago. I have two kids, a 5 year old boy and a three year old girl. I scrapbook mostly about my family. My second favorite thing to scrapbook about is where we travel, even just the little places. Sometimes I let the product be the guide and sometimes the photos are the starting point. I like to scrapbook 12 x 12 or double 8.5 x 11. I've been scrapbooking since I was 16. I've been getting Jenni's kits for the past two years and I've never met one I didn't like!

Welcome to the team Briana Johnson! We are excited and thrilled to have you joining us! :)

Paper and Ink: Kids Crafts
Hello! Wilna
here! So, for most of us that have kids, the summer holidays need to be
more than hours of video games or watching TV. Here is a cool idea to
get the creative juices flowing for the young at heart. I saw this cool idea on pinterest and thought it the perfect craft.
You will need:
*The tree template printed out on the background paper. You can also just have the kids draw it in pencil.
*Patterned papers
*Ink pads
*Glue
*Scissors
*Kids willing to be creative (I got 2 out of 3 for this one)
How to:
*Print the tree on paper. I had some 13x19 papers so i printed it big.
*Now ask the children to cover the tree with patterned paper cut in little strips so that you can't see any of the outlines except the top branches.
*Once that is complete, the can print the leaves using ink pads and their fingers.
Time:
* it took my girls about an hour to complete it.
More ideas:
* We were on a schedule, but if you have more time use some water colors and add some grass/clouds. You can also make some birds from patterned paper and add it to the tree.
Here's a few pictures of the process:
