Welcome Guest Designer Betsy Sammarco!

I took a great Big Picture Scrapbooking Class from Jenni this year and won a guest design team spot for this month! Thanks so much Jenni!

I loved working with the kit – the colors are gorgeous and there is new product in there that just blew me away! It was hard to choose a favorite layout so I asked my son which layout was his favorite and he picked this one! Of course! The minute I saw the bottle cap, I thought of my son. My Big Bite punched the hole in it without a problem!
I wanted to share a piece in my scrap area that I love. I found an old trunk years ago at a huge flea market in Brimfield Mass. I just loved the red worn color. Years later, as I started scrapping and accumulating tons of cardstock, I wanted to find a place where I could keep the paper out of the sun and out of sight. I asked my handy husband if he could do something with the trunk to hold my paper. He installed a couple of heavy duty brackets that could hold 12x12 Cropper Hopper file folders and put the trunk on wheels to make it easy for me to move it. I use a lot of old pieces to hold my scrap stuff, and this is a favorite piece for sure!
Thanks for the inspiration Betsy!

  1. Congrats to you Betsy on your guest spot. I wanted to take that class (same one?) and I hope Jenni does it again sometime. I love your trunk and I am going to ask my husband to do that for mine. Thanks.
