hi there!here are 2 layouts and I am sending along a mini book in another email too!thanks for having me be a part of things here at JBS!!!oh and a little tidbit of information about me too: My name is Tara Pollard Pakosta and I have been scrapbooking since 1988 when I got my first Scrapbook as a graduation gift from one of my friends parents. I have been hooked ever since, but more so in the last 10 years since I had children. I am married to Michael, who supports all my hobbies! We have 2 girls. Savannah is 10 and Ava is 8.5 . We also have a 2 year old Cockapoo named Piper who has to fulfill my dreams of a 3rd child.I am on the Design Teams for October Afternoon & Creative Cafe. I love the opportunities that have come to me through this hobby. Scrapbooking is my true passion and without it, I wouldn't feel complete. Thank you for giving me the wonderful opportunity to create with the beautiful Jenni goodies! I have loved her stuff from day one, so it was a real gift to play!
Hi all - I'm so happy to be sharing a little inspiration with you here today. =) I live in the midwest, and we are currently buried in snow. The grays and blues on this layout pretty well reflect the landscape around here right now. I sprayed my gray cardstock with blue shimmery mist for a frosty effect, and added snowflakes made from a hydrangea punch, vintage paper, sequins and stitching.
Love the attention to detail! Thanks for the inspiration Lisa!
My name is Jo-Anne, I am English but I live in Holland in a small village, where the women still wear traditional dutch costume EVERY day…. it looks like this!
I ride a bicycle and we are blessed to have a very old fashioned slow pace of live which is a change from the rest of the world.

Now that I have 2 kids, it's a rarity that my husband and I take a picture together, much less I scrap it. As soon as I saw the JBs stuff, it reminded me of valentine's day and love, and I knew I needed to scrap this picture. For some accents on the flowers and punched butterflies, I cut apart one of the pearl flowers and used them in this layout.
While I was in the 'love' mindset, I thought I would create this card for my husband also. I could give it to him now...or wait until Valentine's day. :) The pearl on the 'yes' is the middle of the pearl flower that I cut up for my layout. :) The JBs Cardstock coordinations are AWESOME. The black and the red cardstock are the same piece of cardstock, just different sides!
I was in the middle of making Christmas cards when the JBS stuff came, and I couldn't resist making a few. The journaling cards are the perfect size for cards!! For the 'Deck the Halls' card, I just cut the card down into a square. And of course I had to add some bling with the gems and the glitter to make them festive!
I really loved the paper and it might seem like an unconventional snow layout, but that's sort of what I liked about it. Love those journaling spots. The leading is 24 if you journal like I do with a computer for that particular spot.
Everyone in my family is baffled by my son's near incessant use of the word "corn-peeled." We think it means corn-field, however in certain circumstances we thought it meant garfield (the cat). The photos are from the corn fields near my parents home.
I've had that photo printed and in my stack forever. I try it with every paper that comes through my door it seems like, only to be disappointed. I've honestly been waiting for 2 years for the right paper, and when I set my photo down on JBS baby boy papers I got choked up. Finally! Thank you, thank you JBS. It was worth the wait. :)
