JBS Mercantile August Updates!

The August gallery updates are loaded! We are super excited to announce Larissa Albernaz as our guest this month. Be sure to check her gallery for some amazingly detailed art! The main kit sold out quickly this month, so our design team has focused on the Project Kit, Antiquarian, and Artisan add-ons with our updates. Check the galleries of Becky, Betsy, Briana, Celeste, Doris, Jill, Keisha, Kerry Lynn, and Mindy for new projects. If you love mini-albums, this is definitely your month! And remember, you can reserve a membership if you don't want to miss out on next month!

August means Back to School on the JBS Inspiration Blog! This month we will be bringing lots of projects, mini-albums, and layouts focusing on students, teachers, and the learning experience. Trust us when we say you'll want to show up for class even if you don't have any children returning to school this fall. There will be something for everyone here. :)

Today we bring you a great overview of the school year on this multi-photo layout by Lisa Dickinson. This project is fittingly from our August Papercrafting Kit (sold out - sorry!), and beautifully showcases this month's exclusive stamp and stencil.

Thanks for the inspiration Lisa!

Beautiful Butterflies by Jenni Bowlin

An oh so sweet layout from Jenni Bowlin featuring a flock of JBS butterflies. The row on the right was stamped with the new Butterfly Foam Stamp using Lavendar Sachet Paint then overlaid with the Butterfly Clear Stamp using Weather Vane Dye Ink. The butterfly on the right is a Silver Butterfly Rub-on Single cut out and inked with Lavendar Sachet Dye Ink. The new stuff will be shipping to a store near you in just two weeks!

Three Things . . .

One . . . we are super excited as mid-month approaches. Our summer release is scheduled to arrive in the warehouse on August 15th which means it will be heading to stores shortly thereafter! I, for one, am certainly looking forward to playing with the new Doily Flowers and Shadowed Alpha Stickers among other things. Lisa Dickinson's layout, Top of the World, has me inspired!

Two . . . have you noticed the lovely new look of our Design Team Gallery? Many thanks to Betsy Sammarco, for all her hard work with that. Thanks Betsy! Also, I wanted to mention that the galleries of our two newest designers, Briana Johnson and Mindy Miller, are fully functional now in case you missed them at reveal.

Three . . . for all you locals, Jenni Bowlin Studio will have a booth at CKC Nashville! If you're headed there this weekend, please do stop by and say hello!

JBS Mercantile August Gallery Reveal!

The August Gallery is live! We thing you are going to be well pleased with what the design team has done with this month's exclusive stamp and stencil. Really, there are lots of truly amazing delights to behold. The July kit sold out quickly last month, so you're going to want to snatch this beauty up quickly if you love it. The layouts here are all by one of our newest designers, Briana Johnson. Excellent work! We are housing them here temporarily as her gallery isn't quite ready. We'll get them moved over there along with her commentary very soon. Also please note that our other new designer, Mindy Miller, has her gallery currently mislabeled. Her work is under the window labeled Danielle Flanders. We'll get that fixed asap as well.
