There is daily inspiration to be found here Monday through Friday and it's definitely the place for the latest news and tidbits from Jenni Bowlin Studio. Indeed, I've been sharing so much news with you lately that the inspiration is getting backlogged. Lots of goodness in store! Only four more days till Mercantile launches then it's back to business as usual which is unusually lovely. Stay tuned for an even bigger prize opportunity as we get closer to June 1st. Oh! and I'll be posting May's edition of our monthly contest soon, so get those layouts ready!

Don't you just love this sweet little freedom banner that Michelle made? Wouldn't it be fun to create one of your very own? Wouldn't it be awesome to have detailed instructions available to make creating it that much easier? Soon my friends . . . very soon. We're planning on posting a new tutorial at least once a month. They'll either be project based like this one or technique based (think edge distressing, covering chipboard, maybe a little gesso action . . . ). Look for tutorials on this project and Michelle's cake tower to be posted when the new site goes live on June 1st (they'll also be posted in the wholesale gallery at JBS).

Becky grew up in Nebraska and continues to love her roots in the midwest. She is married to Tom (a Harley riding manly man :) and together they have 4 grown children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 silly dogs. Photography has become her passion, as well as livelihood in the past few years. Scrapbooking is still near and dear to her, as well as reading, shopping for vintage-y goodies at bargain prices, cooking good food, sewing a little and spending as much time as possible with her loved ones....so pretty much anything a homebody at heart would like. 
When I saw this photo, it grabbed me....mainly because this is so Harper. I love when a photo captures so much of one of my little ones true self. I like to take a photo that grabs me and then experiment with colors, patterns, textures/layers until I come up with something that pleases my eye.
I love this photo of our youngest grandson Greyson, mainly because this is the way he looks at me. I love that it's apparent that he kinda likes me.
This might be my favorite piece of JBS patterned paper. The colors are just so yummy; they remind me of sherbet. What? You don't recognize this piece? Well that's because today is its very first public appearance. This little beauty will be shipping with the June Mercantile Kit (formerly known as Jenni Bowlin Studio Kit)! Yes! Jenni is adding exclusive patterned paper to her monthly kits. She's taken a few of her favorite patterns and printed them in fresh new color combinations to coordinate with with the upcoming kits. They've been ordered in very limited quantities and will only be available at Mercantile. The bulk will go out in the kits each month and the few remaining sheets will eventually be sold individually at Mercantile (if there are any left once the kits go out).
Wait! There's more! She's also designed these darling little exclusive square journaling cards and starting with July each kit will also contain an exclusive rub-on! Happiness!
This inspiring layout came from my good friend Sherri's gallery at Jenni Bowlin Studio. It was a little hard for me to find and I noticed that she said she made it from an October kit, but I know it wasn't last October's kit. Hmmmm . . . don't you wish it was easier to find inpiration in the share gallery? I know I do. Well, on June 1st our wish will be granted. The new and improved share gallery will have several search function options, including searching by name and month. And the images themselves will be MUCH BIGGER. It's going to be an awesome resource for you. Even better . . . the design team will be on the lookout for YOUR gorgeous creations to post right here!

What an incredible and wonderful experience it has been working with Jenni Bowlin Studio and everyone involved over the past couple of years. I am sad to have to say good bye, but sometimes life (as we all know) takes it's own course and we need to make choices. I am thrilled, however, at the gorgeous new talent that is coming aboard here and I cannot wait to follow along with all the great new things happening at JBS! Thank you to everyone :) Love, Rita xo
