Guest Star: Danielle Layton

I really loved the paper and it might seem like an unconventional snow layout, but that's sort of what I liked about it. Love those journaling spots. The leading is 24 if you journal like I do with a computer for that particular spot.

Everyone in my family is baffled by my son's near incessant use of the word "corn-peeled." We think it means corn-field, however in certain circumstances we thought it meant garfield (the cat). The photos are from the corn fields near my parents home.

I've had that photo printed and in my stack forever. I try it with every paper that comes through my door it seems like, only to be disappointed. I've honestly been waiting for 2 years for the right paper, and when I set my photo down on JBS baby boy papers I got choked up. Finally! Thank you, thank you JBS. It was worth the wait. :)

Danielle Layton is a physician assistant and military wife. She has been scrapbooking since 2002, mostly her European travels and her dog until the birth of her son. She loves photography and wants to leave behind lots of good photos for her son as she does not have many from her own childhood.

She likes to be busy and therefore, scrapbooks and blogs often (http://www.vtpuggirl.blogspot.com/). You can find her adamantly researching Chipotle's secret recipe for guacamole by her preferred method: taste-testing.

Danielle designs for American Crafts and Cocoa Daisy. She got her start in the industry designing for Cosmo Cricket. She has had her work published in Memory Makers, Papercrafts, Simple Scrapbooks and Scrapbook Trends Magazine, as well as some web-based E-zines. Her guilty indulgence is Grey's Anatomy, when she isn't doing continuing medical education credits towards her medical license.

So lovely! Thanks for the inspiration Danielle!
