Christmas Garland #9 by Keisha Campbell

For my addition to the garland-I used the chipboard house & new Christmas papers. And I grabbed a few goodies from Michael's-the snowman, Santa head, and the red glittered berry leafy ball bell thing!!! I also added some of that vintage German foil Jenni usually adds to the kits and one of her new brads.

Gorgeous! Thanks for the inspiration Keisha!

Keisha Campbell inspired by Jenni Bowlin

Today's post is brought to you by Keisha Campbell who writes, "I love the way Jenni keeps things so simple-but I still feel like there is so much to take in. Her work is vintage gorgeous, and I have come to really love using her vintage finds on my pages. Especially those old checks & ledger papers!"

Back to School with Keisha Campbell

Today's back to school feature is brought to you by Keisha Campbell. We just love Keisha's ability to make classic JBS product so fresh and inspiring.

Keisha writes, "OMG, Amira will be starting high school on Monday. The time just flew by...and it is a blur in my mind right now. We have been telling her that she needs to jazz up her style now that she is going to be a freshman. She shocked me by picking out some cute leopard ballet flats. And she actually likes the green blazer I showed her while school shopping-she won't even put it in her closet. She is excited about her new look, and that is nice!"

Supplies: Bingo Cards - School Days Set, Black Label Stickers, Classic Die Cut Label Paper - Receipt, Die Cut Block Alpha - Red Ledger, Die Cut Mini Paper Pad - Polka Dots, Plastic Ribbons - Classic

Stamp + Scissors #2

Keisha Campbell reminds us that "scissors" can be interpreted to more complex cutting tools. Here she has stamped the butterfly onto a circle she cut with her slice then added a flower and some hand cut banners. Beautiful!

Filter Flower Tutorial from Keisha Campbell

Keisha snapped a little tutorial for you while she was making her April layouts. These were made from the filter papers in the April Showers Add-On. I think this technique would also work well with the tissue paper that came in the April Project Kit. By the way, Jenni's tissue paper flower tutorial is now posted HERE. Oh! and we've just added Wilna's layouts to the gallery! Inspiration abounds in April! Tune back in tomorrow for more mini-album madness!

Fold paper in half.

Fold the half again.

Then fold one last time.

Fold the the bottom tip up & staple.

Now pull folds out carefully-it can tear!!

Shape flower to your liking-then flatten a bit.

Now add your center with a bit of glue or glue dot!

Love Banner by Keisha Campbell

Today we have a soft and feminine banner from Keisha Campbell showcasing our new wooden spools. It's so creative! and beautiful! I love it!

Keisha writes, "A fun & quick love banner made with the new JBS spools. I simply cut some strips of paper & taped them to the spools. As soon as I saw the spools last month on the DT blog this is the idea that popped into my head! So when the box came yesterday the spools were the first thing grabbed. It was really hard not to play with the stamps first."

Products-pink vellum butterflies, rhinestone bows, Be Our Guest paper, banner letter stickers; May Arts ribbon

We're so looking forward to seeing what you create with the new stamps! Thanks for the inspiration Keisha!

Valentine Mini by Keisha Campbell

These are a couple of albums that I started last year and never got around to finishing. Today I thought I would tackle trying to finish one of them! Too bad my printer was out of ink-so no pics inside just yet. Valentine projects are my most favorite to do. I love using the colors red, cream, black, white & pink all together. I love the dots and text printed papers that Jenni has and mixing them with her floral papers. The chipboard heart with the girl rubon was from a class Jenni taught last year that I saved for this album-I just loved it.

Another beautiful Valentine Treat! Thanks for the inspiration Keisha!
