Welcome JBS Mercantile March Guest Emily Pitts!

Emily Pitts resides a mile high in Denver Colorado with her husband and two teenagers. She is a fan of handcutting, non-straight lines, cheerful bright colors, and buttons stitched down tight. She has been very blessed to participate in a number of fun ways in the scrapbooking industry, including designing for Studio Calico and Sassafras Lass, writing for Scrapbook and Cards Today and Scrapbooks Etc., and contributing sketches for the Crate Paper blog. Beyond thrilled is how she'd describe her thoughts about guest designing for JBS.

I don't know if I managed to convey how cute I think it is that my son is starting to have some fashion sense. I know it's going to mean longer shopping trips, but it still makes me smile. I'm also proud that I managed to infuse my style into the vintage feel of the Be Our Guest line!

Her current favorite photo . . . It's not a good picture at all, but it's my family and we are in our favorite vacation destination, Switzerland. Good memories don't always come packaged as well-composed and in-focus photos.
