We've just finished uploading Louise Nelson's June gallery and not only is it amazing, it's HUGE! She was inspired to create THIRTEEN layouts with her June kits and now I'm inspired to revisit mine! Louise is the queen of artsy backgrounds and tiny bits and what she does with string is just so captivating. But really, the thing I think I love most about Louise's work is that she remembers to scrapbook herself! What a gift for the next generation. I am making a mental note to do this more myself.
These are just three of Louise's thirteen June layouts. You can see the rest in the June gallery along with some new additions from Karine, Amanda, and Christy. Enjoy!

July JBS Team and Pagemaps and a Chance to Win!
The JBS Mercantile design team partnered with Pagemaps this month to bring you sketch inspiration with our Mercantile kits! Keep reading and you'll see how you can win one of our monthly kits below!
You must check this out! Here's what you'll see from our designers in the July edition of PageMaps:
1. Doris follows her sketch pretty closely, but her own free and light style shines through
2. Christy finds the perfect, yes perfect photos to use with our exclusive patterned paper for July
3. Leah grabs embellishments from the Papercrafting Kit and Artisan Kit and ties them together with her artsy stringing and stitching
4. Jill gets real colorful and uses one of the exclusive stamps with paint to create a fun background
5. Louise uses past kits and JBS product to produce a layout that veers from her usual layout design, but still has her unique and magical style
6. Lisa follows the sketch nearly perfectly and adds a hand stitching that makes her layout full of homespun charm
7. Betsy ventured into the land of double page layouts for the first time in a long time, and flipped the sketch around to accommodate her photos.
8. Corrie took her grid style sketch and created a layout based on a free flowing grid.
Here's how you can win!
Join in the challenge on the PageMaps blog and you can win our July Papercrafting Kit. Already subscribe to the kit or have you purchased it already? Don't worry, you can pick any kit we have currently in stock!

Guest Designer Monique Liedtke
Hi, I’m Monique Liedtke and I live in Europe, in The Netherlands, with my husband, 3 kids (Manon
17, Timothy 15 and Mats 9) and our Cocker Spaniel, Jippie. I started scrapbooking about 11 years ago and am totally addicted; there’s nothing I’d rather do! I don’t have my own scrap room, but I guess you could say I have claimed just about the whole house! I would love to spend every day scrapping from morning till night, but as that’s not possible I work part-time in a small HR office in town. There are many reasons why I love this fabulous hobby; of course because I’m preserving our
memories, but also because of all the new friends I’ve made and last but not least because it helps
in clearing my head in my busy and hectic life: when I scrap I forget everything and anything. Bliss!
My scrap pages are always full of colors and details. My favorite techniques are layering, sewing (both with the sewing machine and by hand), using inks (but not too much) and using lots of Silhouette cuts. If you want to see my projects, please visit my blog:
www.moniquesscrapbook.blogspot.com.
I’m thrilled to guest design for Jenni Bowlin this month! It’s a dream come true!
I find it hard to pick a favorite from the layouts I created with the June papercrafting kit, as I just adore this kit: the colors are so awesome: red is my favorite color, especially combined with golden accents! But if I have to choose a favorite I would say “Love is made for 2”. I almost never use black as a background for my layouts, but when I sanded this black cardstock I just loved what appeared!
What you see in the photo is my little scrapping niche in the annex of our living room. We don’t have enough room in our house to allow for my own studio, but I don’t mind, I love this little place and it’s totally mine! And small means I have everything within reach!
Having my scrap space in the living room means that I have to tidy up often, but it has its advantages too: it allows me to scrapbook every minute I’m home and still be with my kids!
My favorite photo would be this photo of my family and my dad and (step)mother right now. We took this last month when we paid my dad and his wife a (week long) surprise visit at their apartment in Spain; we had such a special time together! I lost my mom and (step)dad during the last 4 years and that makes me appreciate moments like these even more!

......but it is winter 'Down Under'!!! :)
Hello hello :)
Sooooo the team have been sharing some Summer themed creative fun with you this month but I am all rugged up and lamenting that I didnt really have a summer [I spent a months holiday in the US experiencing lotsa cold and snow LOL] at the peak of the Australian Summer.
Today I am sharing with you a few layouts that my current faves from creating with the Jenni Bowlin Studio May & June papercrafting kits. I dont usually creating using bold, colourful print papers. So I challenged myself to create using those patterend papers that I would usually run a mile from. And I must say I was happy with the result.
Well that is it from me for the moment, I do hope you are enjoying the teams fabulous inspiration this month?!!!! :)
Cheers and happy scrapping,
Louise :) xxx
